Transform Quintet
Transform Quintet play original, inventive jazz. Their progressive musical world brims with an elemental and youthful energy, brings in mind the best traditions of fusion jazz, mainstream, and electronic music, and openly draws inspiration from film music and European classical Romanticism.
The members started their musical career almost at the same time, and the formation has become a key player of the local jazz scene over the past twenty years. They are popular with audiences and critics alike, both in Hungary and abroad. Their many records include one that features the world-famous Grammy Award-winning American pianist, Joey Calderazzo.
This concert celebrates their twentieth anniversary with a selection of their best songs, brand new compositions, and surprise guests.
