Dante XXI. - Békebeli brunch Wossala Rozinával / CAFe 2018

The studio of Gábor Miklós Szőke, one of Hungary’s most successful contemporary artists, which can be found on the site of Csepel Works, is a new venue for the CAFe Budapest Contemporary Arts Festival. Best-known for his monumental public statues of animals, Szőke also paints, and designs award-winning furniture and interiors, which draw inspiration from the private mythology he calls Dante Empire.

On Sunday, we will be welcomed by Gábor Miklós Szőke and Rozina Wossala, the hostess of Bestia and other restaurants. Extending into the afternoon, this exciting brunch will evoke the golden age of Budapest with meals one could have at the markets and restaurants of Austria-Hungary times, and we can learn about the eating habits of Manfréd Weiss, founder of the predecessor of Csepel Works. Guests who attend the brunch in period dresses will receive a special gift, designed by Gábor Miklós Szőke.

A special bus service will be offered between Városháza Park and the Gabor M Szoke Studio. Visitors are requested to register for the bus transfer here.
